The Pickle Cottage is a family run business with an emphasis on quality and the preservation of recipes handed down through generations. We remember how good pickles can be and because we grow all the main ingredients that go into each jar, we can ensure its taste and quality. We use both traditional and original recipes with ingredients that are so fresh they were often picked and packed the same day! We love our heritage, our land and our family.

There are four different flavors to choose from:
Regular: The "Original" good old fashion beef jerky
Peppered: Regular with the addition of a secret pepper blend
Hot: Our special blend of cayenne and habanero
Terayki: A subtle sweet and salty blend

Fresh Taste Without the Waste!

Freeze dried herbs give you the taste and color of fresh herbs without risking them going bad in the refrigerator. Freeze dried herbs are stored in the cabinet like dehydrated herbs but they are packed with the flavor and color of the fresh stuff! When cooking with freeze dried herbs start with less than the recommended amount for fresh herbs in a recipe. These herbs are more concentrated than fresh herbs. The herbs will reconstitute within the food while cooking. You don't need to do anything special, just add it in and enjoy the flavor. Glass jar measures 4.1"x1.8"x1.8" and fits perfectly in most spice racks. Inner lid has a shaker and a pour spout (except in green onions).

Prairie Dust was created by mistake and that mistake has been a top seller for over a year. It is a signature dip you will not find anywhere else. It has a combination of cheese blends along with sea salt and cracked black pepper in it.

Sneaky Cucumber is another mistake dip that has been a hit. If you like a little spicy and cucumber you must try it. You get the cucumber taste in your bite and as each bite goes down you get the burn, however the flavor will outlast the heat. It is a combination of cucumber dip and ghost pepper mixed.

Rattlesnake is a little on the spicy side, but nothing a weak person can’t handle. It has several spices in it, but nothing like ghost pepper.
