In addition, the program works with and supports restaurants using Kansas products and retailers selling Kansas products and ingredients. This trademark program helps members promote their Kansas products and provides members with a variety of business development tips and opportunities including marketing assistance. In addition, the state trademark provides a consistent way to identify Kansas agriculture-based products. Cheers Kansas Event
The Cheers Kansas wine festival is an afternoon of sampling Kansas wines, enjoying a taste of local Kansas foods, and listening to live music. Tickets go on sale March 1, 2024. Participants will receive a logo wine glass, tickets for wine samples and/or food samples, and a wine tote.
Join us for this inaugural festival, hosted by the Highland Community College Viticulture and Enology Program, the From the Land of Kansas program, and Kansas Agritourism. Food trucks will also be available at the festival but are not included in the ticket price.
Date & Time: May 11, 2024, from 1 – 5 p.m.
Location: Wamego City Park, Wamego, KS
Three ticket options are available:
$15 Food Only Ticket: 6 food samples
$30 General Admission Ticket: Includes 12 wine and 6 food samples
$50 VIP Ticket: Includes early access starting at noon, with 14 wine and 8 food samples
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Highland Community College Viticulture and Enology academic program.
