I used this balm on my first knee surgery and it was a life saver. My surgery was a brutal one. Tons of pain and I couldn’t  take the heavy pain meds prescribed. I could reapply when needed and my surgery sight healed softer and quicker. Plus it smells great and it doesn’t feel oily on your skin. Highly recommend! I have this in both first aid kits in my home now.
